All About Novice Anaesthesia

A group of anaesthetic trainees across the UK who are passionate about medical education and supporting novice trainees as they start out in anaesthesia.

We started out creating some free video lectures on YouTube to create an anaesthesia lecture course targeting the Initial Assessment of Competency (IAC) that could be viewed offline as COVID-19 pushed so much of our learning online rather than face-to-face. We then looked to find and develop other resources that would be useful for novice colleagues as they navigate those first few months of training.
